The war was one of the reasons the Great Depression ended. -It gave jobs to thousands, if not millions, of people in the U.S(mostly women).
During the war::**
Soldiers were paid/some sent home money
Women worked in factories to build:: Airplanes, ships, tanks etc.
WWII created much needed jobs in factories involving the production of war supplies.
The war dug us out of the Great Depression and boosted the stock market.----
WWll- helped us become the strong country that we are today.**
By being careful with money that was spent in the country the government was able to gather up a large amount of money; with the money, huge industries were produced that could mass produce war materials.

Previously, banks had closed down and ran out of money, but, after the war they were able to build up again.
It was a conscious effort of the people who didn't go to war to build up the economy.
There was a lot of team work occurring in America and drastic changes due to WWll
Women were able to join work forces which had never been a part of society before.
